Cordless on panel at BCO Research Launch, 5 June, CBRE, London
Cordless was pleased to be involved in a special BCO event
focused on the responsiveness of buildings. At the breakfast event, the
findings of a new research report on buildings will be presented, followed by a
panel discussion and networking.
The growth in the application of technology in buildings has the potential to provide significant benefits in the form of improved space utilisation, greater flexibility to suit tenant requirements, increased staff productivity, reduced running costs through reduction in energy use and improved sustainability through energy efficiency.
The BCO study on Fast and Slow Buildings examines how the use of digital technology might improve the responsiveness of buildings. It focuses particularly on the relationship between digital solutions and the approach to environmental control systems in buildings and outlines the key considerations for base build specification.
As part of the team of experts on the panel, Nigel offered a technology insight into the flexibility and standards that can be built into workplaces, including the potential risks and ROI.
As a supporter of the BCO’s research in this area, Cordless is happy to discuss the topic further if you'd like to!
