An open round table exchange with Architects and other Consultants revealed that early planning for technology during a workplace project is moving higher up the strategic agenda than ever.
During the discussion, Mike Halliday, Multimedia Director at Cordless said: “A lot of corporates are looking to fit more people into a building, and don’t realise that technology enables you to be more compressed. Getting that early engagement, so you can shape how the technology is integrated with the workspace, is important.”
It was clear from the discussion that early collaboration between Clients, Architects and Consultants is crucial in the design of a modern office space to deliver technology that is integral to the building and aligned with the project’s quality, time and cost objectives.
